About exiled reflections

My name is Camila and I am twenty-something year old Londoner with a deep urge to change societal power structures. Having been born into a family who was forced into political exile from Colombia, I have a deep admiration for those who work tirelessly and risk their own lives to make the world a more just and equal place.

This is my humble attempt to document popular uprisings, social movements and bring light to those who work tirelessly in the defence of human rights on both sides of the Atlantic. I will also include my own reflections regarding exile, migration, memory construction and the Colombian conflict.

With the increasingly suffocating grip of neoliberalism, its inherent deregulation and the eroding of human rights around the world, there is no better time than now to disseminate such work.

¡Un pueblo unido, jamas será vencido!
